I have an hour-long commute in the morning, so when this medication made me sleepy, I simply had to give it up or risk falling asleep at the wheel. I wish I could have continued it to see if the drowsiness eventually goes away.The first day I took it, I felt absolutely nothing. My allergies were not relieved, but I didn't feel drowsy either. The second day I took it, I couldn't function because I was so tired. I don't recall what effect it had on my allergies. I recommend trying this medication out on a weekend or during vacation if you find you are sensitive to antihistamines and need to be alert throughout the day for work or school. |
